Title
Pentecostal Church : Photo Album
Description
The Pentecostal Church is one of many sects of Christianity practiced by Hispanics in Western New York. In 1952, the first Pentecostal Church was established in Buffalo under the Concilio Latinoamericano. The Pentecostal Church provided structure and community for its followers and also encouraged parents to maintain the Spanish language within their homes. It has been believed that the Pentecostal Church really focused on supporting the Spanish speaking community and more readily addressed its needs.
