Both are retirees from GM where they were active in the local UAW\nchapter. They have served on various boards around WNY as well as the Board of Education. Mr. Rodriguez is a\nleader in the Association of Hispanic Pastors of WNY while Mr. Sanabria was heavily involved with the Agustin\nOlivencia Center and various Puerto Rican baseball leagues around WNY. They were also active in Hispanics United\nof Buffalo, a non-profit agency that serves the Hispanic population and were both instrumental in initiating and\nstrengthening Hispanic Heritage Month in WNY.\nScope and Content Note:\nThis collection, comprised in various media formats, documents the Puerto Rican Community in the Buffalo and\nWNY region.
